Government Grants for Alternative Energy

In his State of the Union Address for 2007, President George W. Bush called for a 22% increase in federal grants for research and development of alternative energy. However, in a speech he gave soon after, he said to those assembled, I recognize that there has been some interesting mixed signals when it comes to funding.

Where the mixed signals were coming from concerned the fact that at the same time the President was calling on more government backing for research and development, the NREL, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of Golden, Colardo was laying off workers and contractors left and right.

Apparently, the Laboratory got the hint, because soon after the State of the Union Address, everyone was re-hired. The second speech of the President’s was actually given at the NREL. There is almost unanimous public support for the federal backing through research grants, tax breaks, and other financial incentives of research and development of alternative energy sources.

The NREL is the nation’s leading component of the National Bioenergy Center, a virtual center that has no central bricks and mortar office. The NREL’s raison d’etre is the advancing of the US Department of Energy’s and the United States’ alternative energy objectives.

The laboratory’s field researchers and staff scientists, in the words of Laboratory Director Dan Arvizu, support critical market objectives to accelerate research from scientific innovations to market-viable solutions. At the core of this strategic direction are NREL’s research and technology development areas.

These areas span from understanding renewable resources for energy, to the conversion of these resources to renewable electricity and fuels, and ultimately to the use of renewable electricity and fuels in homes, commercial buildings, and vehicles. The federally-backed Laboratory directly helps along the United States’ objectives for discovering renewable alternative fuels for powering our economy and our lifestyles.

The NREL is set up to have several areas of expertise in energy research and development. It spearheads research and development efforts into renewable sources of electricity; these would include such things as solar power, wind power, biomass power, and geothermal power.

It also spearheads research and development of renewable fuels for powering our vehicles such as biomass and biodiesel fuels and hydrogen fuel cells. Then, it seeks to develop plans for integrated system enginnering; this includes bringing alternative energy into play within buildings, electrical grids and delivery systems, and transportation infrastructures.

The Laboratory is also set up for strategic development and analysis of alternative energy objectives through the forces of economics, market analysis and planning, and alternative energy investment portfolios structurings.

The NREL is additionally equipped with a Technology Transfer Office. This Office supports laboratory scientists and engineers in the practical application of and ability to make a living from their expertise and the technologies they develop.

NREL’s research and development staff and its facilities are recognized for their remarkable prowess by private industry, which is reflected in the hundreds of collaborative projects and licensed technologies that the Laboratory now has with both public and private partners.

Global Warming Fraud Reflects Too Much Government Money And Power

One insidious aspect of huge government is its ability to so overwhelmingly fund a cause that it perverts it. The perverted cause becomes a government-supported industry whose purpose is to grow and feed itself like the rest of government. Its power, control and money grow at the expense of all we hold dear – like freedom, individual rights, productivity – but most especially, truth.

This article summarizes essential points of this aspect for the Global Warming fraud and the crisis-driven government-industry complex it has spawned.

The Global Warming Crisis is only one of several government-sponsored crises that have cut deeply into the rights, social structure, and productivity of the U.S and its citizens. It shows the 4-stage progression to oppression that huge government helps create for the power, control and money it offers itself and its affiliates.

Let me state these steps then tie them to what tyranny the global warming hoax has led us.

4 Stage Progression of Government-Supported Crisis to Tyrannical Control Massive government funding leads through 4 stages to a government and crisis-based affiliated complex that exercises tyrannical control over citizens. These stages are:

*Stage 1: A cause is identified for government funding – from a few facts found

*Stage 2: Cause is propagandized as a crisis for urgent solutions and government funding – from distorted projections of few facts

*Stage 3: Both funding and crisis-justified privileges instigate burgeoning agency affiliations. More facts are sought in support of the cause while crisis-justified privileges are demanded that negate freedom and rights of others. Propaganda grows and a party-line develops at the expense of facts and freedom.

*Stage 4: Government and the crisis-based affiliates form an incestuous complex exercising crisis-justified tyrannical control and power. Propaganda becomes essential for continuation and growth of primarily government funding. Facts are perverted to support the ‘party-line’ while opposing facts are suppressed. Those opposing the party-line are scorned and vilified.

The end result is a crisis-driven conglomerate of industries and agencies which is effectively a government- supported tyranny based on propaganda and the suppression of the ‘facts’, the truth, and people’s freedoms.

Global Warming’s stage 1 started from a study that showed temperatures were increasing – and more so as time went on. Stage 2 began with attributing the warming to increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere – trapping heat just like the glass of a greenhouse traps heat to keep the plants warm. But when the rising carbon dioxide appeared to track man’s rise in industrial outputs it made global warming a man-made crisis. Funding takes off.

In Stage 3 countries setup agencies to deal with global warming and held international meetings to find ways to control future energy use. The ‘carbon footprint’ came into being. Extensive funding for global warming facts, projections, and solutions gave us ‘global warming-friendly’ ones. The party-line perverted results and interpretations while pushing for more control over people and industries. Global warming propaganda grows to convince the people it’s all settled science and those opposing it are crackpots. Government funding rises.

Stage 4 explodes on the scene with national and international programs and meetings to decide how politicians and money-hungry scientists will control industry. Unlimited and endless funding is forthcoming for all those ‘on board’ the Global Warming train with hundreds of billions-of-dollar-consequences to our industrial lives. The propaganda has the public and media on board.

The Fraud Exposed:

Fortunately, many brave scientists objected to and proved how fraudulent or irresponsible the facts and assertions that supported global warming were. They did it on their own ‘dime’, and faced being labelled heretics defying the ‘settled science’ and threatened with loss of their positions and future prospects too.

But it was only when the emails exchanged among the global warming proponents were ‘hacked into’ that ‘Climate-Gate’ became a major media issue. The emails made it clear that concerted effort was going into covering up opposing data. Global Warming scientists had intimidated scientific journals to keep sceptics from publishing, and they had altered data to make the phony case for man-made global warming. NASA’s Goddard Institute even stonewalled freedom-of-information efforts to hide the fraud and keep the money flowing.

A government funded crisis-based affiliate complex can pervert science and restrict truth to achieve their ends of money, power and control.

What we’re left with:

We’re left with much of the crisis-based complex. With the power they’ve assumed, they’re spinning their way out of ‘Global Warming’ into ‘Climate Change’ to justify their support. It’s almost impossible to tear this apparatus down. We’re left with more government control and less freedom.

This is how big government grows bigger and more tyrannical. The divorce and domestic violence complex is another government-supported fraud that followed the same pattern.

It’s time to expose frauds and reduce government. It’s bigness is harmful to sustaining freedom.

Global Warming: Is The Bush II Government Pursuing A Policy Of Genocide By Proxy

The legendary Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) once said: “The earth has enough for the needs of all but not the greed of a few.” His words have since proved to be quite prophetic!

The world today is in chaos and by that I’m not merely referring to the tumult taking place in the Middle East; what I’m talking about is the imminent extinction of hundreds of millions of people as a result of global warming. In both scenarios the United States plays a central role!

I have already pretty much detailed out how and why global warming is happening and which nations are most responsible for its acceleration, as well as who’s doing what and who is not to rectify the situation in my article entitled: Global Warming–How It Could Spark World War III.

That said, I’ve included a list of figures below to illustrate to what extent each nation/region is responsible for greenhouse gas pollution in the atmosphere (greenhouse gases are widely held to be the engine behind the accelerated global warming seen today):

USA: 30.3% Europe: 27.7% Russia: 13.7% South East Asia: 12.2% South/Central America: 3.8% Japan: 3.7% Middle East: 2.6% Africa: 2.5% Australia: 1.1%

THE TRUTH BEHIND THE LIE

To many in marketing circles the concept of manipulation of social evidence is nothing new. Basically what it entails is manipulating tools of evidence to further one’s goals.

Thus for example, until fairly recently in internet marketing circles, the practice of manufacturing bogus testimonials was fairly widespread.

The objective being to convince visitors to one’s website to purchase products on the strength of those manufactured testimonials.

In the arena of global warming much the same has been happening. In the same manner that a defense counsel in a court case will produce its own expert witness to discredit that of the prosecution (or vice versa) so has the Bush II administration paraded a string of bogus experts to decry global warming as just a myth!

In 2007 a good number of environmental scientists and climatologists publicly stated that they’d been pressurized by various Bush II factions to manipulate data to downplay the seriousness of global warming!

Which simply begs the question: why is the Bush II administration going to such lengths to hide the truth about global warming?

SNATCH AND GRAB OPERATION GONE AWRY

It is now widely accepted that the invasion of Iraq had little to do with terrorism, less to do with democracy but everything to do with oil!

The question still remains however, why did the US go to such lengths (which included manufacturing evidence) to illegally invade a sovereign state under what at best can be described as a thinly disguised pretext for war?

Was it merely a question of the then single remaining superpower claiming its right to wield that might as it saw fit irrespective of international law, just as Nazi Germany once did?

Or was it a case of a few vain men hoping to claim their slice of immortality through a legacy festooned with the glory of having secured new oil reserves for a nation with a quenchless thirst for the stuff?

Or perhaps the U.S. oil reserves were so desperately low that Bush II and his New World Order buddies were prepared to force a snatch and grab operation that could easily have escalated into third world war, so as to shore up those dwindled oil reserves?

Or maybe, just maybe, the U.S. desperately needed to stockpile a vast amount of oil for something far, far more sinister.

To keep at bay a monster it helped so much to create!

THREADS WEAVING A DISTURBING TAPESTRY OF EVENTS

These days more often than not fact is stranger than fiction. When we look at the Bush II Administration’s policy on global warming it is beyond perplexing why they have gone to such lengths to deny its existence.

For sure, his Have-More buddies in oil and other environmental-damaging industries have plenty to gain by muddying the waters, but what if there’s really more to this repudiation of global warming than that!

What if this is a carefully concocted plot that has been kept under wraps for years?

Here’s what we know thus far about global warming. The data has been around for well over a decade and has been readily available to government officials.

Since the turn of the 21st century scientists across the globe have been warning of the extent of global warming; warnings that apparently fell on deaf ears! (Well at least as far as the Bush II administration was concerned.)

But supposing this was not actually the case.

What if the Bush II administration did listen, but only to those scientists who’d concluded that the world had reached the point of no return? And that global warming could not be reversed anytime in the foreseeable future and thus by proxy neither could its ensuing effects!

FUELING UP FOR A GLOBAL CATASTROPHE

In other words there was no point implementing measures to curb greenhouse gas emissions (thereby slowing down global warming) and that in fact the best policy was to forge powerfully ahead and ensure that America was readied for the ensuing catastrophe no matter the cost!

If it meant manufacturing a war, so be it! If it meant causing the deaths of hundreds of millions of people to achieve that aim, so be it! After all this wouldn’t be the first time in history that the few had been sacrificed for the many!

Oh! Except in this case it is the many sacrificing for the few, or more specifically, The Have-Mores!

When looked at from this perspective, that the U.S. is fuelling up for a long term global catastrophe, it all begins to make some sense! Especially considering that Saudi Arabia still has the greatest oil reserves in the world and has never said no to U.S. oil demands!

Bottom line, it is quite conceivable that the U.S. under Bush II has been insuring against (or at least trying to) a global catastrophe predominantly of its own making! But alas even the best laid plans go badly awry. Iraq didn’t turn out to be the pushover they’d expected and the oil is not gushing the way they had envisioned.

Think that such a scenario is way over the top? Think again! Remember Iraq? Remember Hurricane Katrina?

The way the Bush II government handled Katrina was so shameful that Google for some reason best known to it was compelled to replace post-Hurricane Katrina satellite imagery with pre-hurricane images on its map portal (Damage control? Trying to hide America’s shame from the rest of the world? At whose behest one wonders?).

As you can well imagine, when it came to light, the whole sordid affair was an extreme embarrassment to Google (And certainly not good for business! The search engine business thrives on the premise that results are accurate and impartial and not manipulated!).

But the point I wish to emphasize here is that if the Bush II government could shun its very own citizens (albeit mainly citizens of color) in such a cavalier fashion why would they give a damn if their actions resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of Africans or peoples from other parts of the globe who are going to be worst hit by global warming?

In World War II the Nazi’s genocide weapon-of-choice was hydrogen cyanide gas, what irony that in the upcoming global warming related genocide, gas too is the weapon of choice; carbon dioxide gas!
